You need to take the reins.
We suggested various changes and one of the changes specifically made regarding what the electors wanted in the way of voting for seat needs to be reviewed again. In his desire to quickly get rid of this change he deleted an ordinance that had been voted on for the purpose of voting. Meagan Logan, our previous attorney did it right and you need to comply.
You also need to find out the state of our finances. Ms. George should be providing that information on a monthly basis. Now she doesn’t even make a report on what she has done for the month.
The surplus property we paid the attorney to review of some $600, when he didn’t need to look at it only Vanessa George has not been brought up in meetings. The Council has done nothing and to look at the agendas, they are worthless. If you think you are doing better than previous council members and staff, you are certainly wrong. You need Vanessa to advertise and secure bids on the surplus property which the previous council didn’t follow the law either. If someone has a question, FMIT provides information.
We don’t even know the status of Kimley-Horn.It should be on the agenda.
Ms. George Stated that we owed $37,000 on three grants, and no other information. You need to advise the public and it should be on the agenda.
What about the First Federal Line of Credit. It was not discussed in a meeting and should have been on the agenda. At one meeting the paperwork was to be signed in a couple of days. Then the only thing we heard was “We didn’t need it” from Ms. George. The public has the right to know, Anita.
What is the Status of the Sheriff’s Department Contract? This needs to go on our agenda also. Audre’ does not know what to do and obviously you have to be realizing that both you and I were wrong about Vanessa. She doesn’t have the experience nor the education in spite of what you believe.
In July we have to start budget workshops.
We have not paid Tom Brazil’s bills and Vanessa, when Talking to land should have fought for the $2,500 per quarter and since Land said Hamilton County wouldn’t pay because of non-compliance by WSFR, there should have been attorney involvement. This was a decision but the Contract said they could but they discriminated against WSFR.
The Town is going to Hell Anita and this council is doing nothing. you have no idea what is going on and are allowing Vanessa to take the Town Down too afraid to do anything about it. I really thought everything would be better but it has become worse and this council is not helping. We might as well have Tommie as manager and on the council because right now we have nothing but Tommies.
