SINCE WE DON’T HAVE A CONTRACT HE IS #1 AN “AT WILL EMPLOYEE” AND #2 BECAUSE HE IS AT THE BECK AND CALL OF THE MAYOR AND THE REST OF THE COUNCIL HE IS AN EMPLOYEE. IT IS REAL SIMPLE. EITHER YOU ALLOW THE BLACK MAN TO OPERATE THE POSITION HE WAS HIRED TO DO OR FACE A JUDGE AND EXPLAIN WHY YOU HIRED HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE BECAUSE HE IS A BLACK MAN. YOU CAN’T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS, EITHER HE, LIAR, DRUG USER, THIEF, SOLICITATION EXPERT AND A FELON, IS QUALIFED OR HE IS NOT. WHITE SPRINGS IS IN DEEP TROUBLE AND WE NEED A FULLY FUNCTIONING TOWN MANAGER. THE COUNCIL, IN ITS WISDOM, PICKED TOMMIE TO BE THE MAN. EITHER HE IS THE MAN OR HE IS THE LAPDOG OF THE COUNCIL AND THE MAYOR. EITHER WE HAVE A WEAK MAYOR FORM OF GOVERNMENT OR WE DON’T. RACISM IS NOT TRUSTING MAN TO DO THE JOB YOU HIRED HIM TO DO, SIMPLY BECAUSE HE IS BLACK. EASILY PROVABLE IN A COURT OF LAW. I’D LOVE TO SEE A DRUG TEST BUT, AS YOU POINTED OUT, WHAT DIFFERENCE WOULD IT MAKE.
