Pam explained to All concerned and to the Town Council that Stacy Tebo, by far, is the best manager White Springs has ever had and we know that for these to ladies who served as each other’s crutch, that Parting will be such sweet sorrow, only if they make decisions to see each other again.
Ms. Tebo’s evaluation was an average of 2.5% and Pam said that it was so unfair that she received such low grades on her evaluation.
Walter McKenzie told Ms. Tebo that the reason for the evaluation was not to force Ms. Tebo to quit or in no way was it done so that her employment would be terminated.
Ms. Tebo agreed to go through all the grant information and get things cleared up before she leaves.
We will have a workshop Next Tuesday at 6:00 PM to discuss what our new add for a Town Manager will be. We need someone who understands the infrastructure as well as ibe ability to perform a budget but especially a manager who likes people and wishes to do the best for them.
In speaking with others after the meeting, the most important background of a Town Manager would be one in understanding the Infrastructure, especially with our Water Wastewater Treatment facilities.
Walter McKenzie explained that it is not our Water that contains nitrates but the water from the Wastewater Treatment Plant. It nevertheless poses a problem as to where it is disposed and if it is going directly into the aquifer. This is something our new manager must solve.
Remember, there will be a Workshop next Tuesday at 6:00 PM to discuss our needs in what we wish of a Town Manager.
