If you’re told not to move Enterprise Money into the General Fund, then move the General Fund Expenses into the Enterprise Account…Really!

At the September Meeting, Stacy Tebo was asked to rework the budget without moving enterprise money into the General Fund and Not using LOFT funds but to retain such in a restrictive fund.   What Ms. Tebo did, which was called out by Mayor Miller and Councilman Moore, was to then take payrolls initially in the General Fund and place them in the Enterprise Fund.  As such, Yvonne Bryant’s 100% Salary and benefits moved to the Enterprise Fund, 25% of Curtis Johnson’s salary and benefits moved and 50% of Stacy Tebo’s salary moved.  So essentially, the only difference in the budget draft today from a week ago is that money isn’t taken out of the Enterprise Fund but the Salaries of the General Fund were moved into the Enterprise fund.  How Amazing.  No insight that we are broke and that we have to cut people or place certain Staff like Ms. Tebo and Pam Tomlinson on a part-time basis.
In fact Mayor Miller brought up the fact that what we have had for years was a part-time manager who worked at the water and sewer plants the remainder of his time.  Our Town cannot afford a manager at the salary and benefits we are paying Tebo when essentially all she does is take time off as she has in the past.  This also proves that we do not need a manager full time.

  1. And have people calling hard working people jobs to try and get them fired. Well it won’t happen here Stacy. Move onto something that you might actually succeed at.
