The RHATT Pack Watch Day 238

The RHATT Pack Watch

Day 238

Today is Wednesday, December 19th, Day 238 of the Rhatt Pack Watch.

For some time now, the Town of White Springs has had a number of job openings and for some reason, apparently since the Red-face Ratt came to power,, only “Out of Towners” are hired.  This merits some scrutiny.  For instance, why wasn’t Mr. Curtis hired to fill the full-time Public Works Technician position in the Roads and Streets Department that recently became available?  Of course, this same question could be asked about any one or perhaps all of these openings.  In any event, it appears this hiring of “Out of Towners” began with the very first position the Ratt filled, the Town Manager position.

As you know, according to Dan Parrott, Town Manager, Debary wanted to be rid of Tebo due to numerous violations of their Personnel Policies, including inattention to duty, failing to obey proper directives made and given by a supervisor, inducing or attempting to induce any officer or employee of the City to commit an unlawful act, insubordination, incompetence, neglect of duty, knowingly making false statements to an officer of the  City, disgraceful conduct, violation of duties and obligations of her position, willful violation of departmental regulations, refusal to abide by any lawful official regulation or order, and a whole host of additional transgressions and violations.  She seemed ideal to the Ratt and besides she knelt down and kissed his ring.

Then there was “Out of Towner” Cousin Ray, the only application received, who was hired this past Summer to fill Cousin Kenny’s manager of the Roads and Streets Department position.  At least “Cousin” Ray had worked on White Springs streets, while he was responsible for HCCI work crews.  It’s not yet known if he had kissed the Ratt’s ring.

Next the Town hired “Out of Towner” “Cousin” Shonda Werts, again the only application received, to be manager of the Code Enforcement Department.  It is known, she is the “love interest” of one of the individuals the Ratt has recruited to be a fourth or fifth member of his “Gang” and besides, she has kissed the Ratt’s ring.  However, her only experience has been waitressing.  You know White Springs has numerous residents more qualified than that and they live here.

Back to Mr. Curtis.   He’s worked part-time for the Town for many years, both with regard to the Water and Wastewater Department and the Roads and Streets Department.  Since Mr. Curtis had performed all of the activities of the Public Works Technician position many times over may years, he was eminently qualified to transition from a part-time to a full-time position.  Why then wouldn’t the Town hire him, particularly since Town personnel policies mandate open positions be offered to existing employees first?

The “Watch’s” guess is that Mr. Curtis wouldn’t kneel down and kiss the Ratt’s ring.  On the other hand, the Out of Towner” Lapdog was required by the Ratt to ensure any notice of this and all open positions would be virtually impossible to find.  This is evidenced by the fact that the Ratt’s hand picked Boy Toy “Cousin” William was the only individual, like all other open positions, to submit an application.  At best, he had only a small fractions of the qualifications and experience of Mr. Curtis.  But of course, “Cousin” William had already kissed the Ratt’s ring.  There’s a pattern.  Are you beginning to see what the Ratt thinks of White Springs and its residents?  That’s right, he has zero respect for them.

Well folks, you can send the Ratt a message.  Remove him from office.  Send him a set of pink handcuffs for Christmas.  Or get involved.  Learn the issues, facing White Springs.  Recruit candidates for Town Council who care, are competent and hones.  And begin the process of cleaning up the crime and the corruption in Town Hall and on its Streets.  Call the FBI office in Jacksonville (904) 248-7000.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for any position controlled by the Ratt.  It’s Day 238 and the Red-face Ratt hasn’t resigned yet.  The Rhatt Pack Watch continues!
