Hanging, burning, Bushing and campaigning on the most racist, ill-conceived, judgiest and socialist fakeries in the week’s fake news.
Democrats and the hangman’s noose
Democrats have an unhealthy love affair with hangman’s nooses. During much of the 20th century it wasn’t uncommon in some states — southern states in particular — for a gang of Democrats to drag black people off the streets or out of their homes and string them up, their corpses left to hang there until law enforcement was forced by a modicum of decorum to cut them down and deliver them to the undertaker.
In Mississippi’s Clarke County there is bridge that spans the Chickasawhay River that still bears the name, the Hanging Bridge. Now closed to traffic, the rusty steel bridge saw at least six — though some say eight or more — lynchings between 1918 and the 1960s.
Last week, hangman’s nooses came out again in Mississippi. On Monday, on the eve of a U.S. Senate election that pitted a white Republican woman against a black Democrat man, nooses were found hanging from trees near the state Capitol.
The media had its usual meltdown. The local NBC affiliate, WLBT-TV 3, received a call about the nooses and several “hate signs.” When the station reported the nooses and “hate signs” to Capitol Police, they were removed.
WLBT-TV then tweeted about the nooses and “hate signs” that were found at Mississippi State Capitol. The tweet included photos of nooses, but not the signs.
The mainstream media and leftwing echo chamber piled on. The Associated Press, HuffPo, Democrat activist Donna Brazille, and other Twitter wags tweeted the noose photos along with some race-baiting comments implying that white Mississippians in general, and Republican-leaning ones specifically, were racists. They also implied that supporters of the white woman, Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, were behind the “hate.” One such wag, a Walter M. Kimbrough, a blue checkmarked “HipHopPrez” of Dillard University, was bolder.
Leftists had introduced racism into the contest weeks ago. In what has become standard operating procedure from the social Marxists in the Democrat party and their media enablers, they took an off-the-cuff statement Hyde-Smith made and fabricated a racist connotation into it.
Some six hours later, WLBT sent out another tweet. This one included the so-called “hate signs.” Turns out they weren’t “hate signs” at all. And who was behind them was quite obvious. They were political signs posted by Democrats implying that Hyde-Smith was a racist and stating that “times HAVEN’T CHANGED;” meaning that lynchings were still a problem and whites were racists.
But times have changed, as anyone living in the south knows. It’s more common than not now to see mixed-race couples anytime you go into a public setting. Blacks and whites live together, work together, dine together and go to church together. There have been no lynchings in Mississippi, or anywhere else in the south in 50-plus years. That’s not to say that racism is completely gone, but implying it’s as serious a problem as it was 50-60 years ago or more is ridiculous.
The nooses and signs were a Democrat stunt. WLBT and the MSM knew the content of the signs and knew the whole thing was a stunt. So WLBT and the MSM were intentionally promoting fake news.
Seems Democrats and their MSM enablers see racism everywhere but in themselves.
Gov. Brown agrees with Trump on the California wildfires
Sometimes the truth hurts. Like that time a few weeks ago when President Donald Trump pointed out that California’s mismanagement of the forest system contributed to devastating fires that killed at least 84, left almost 500 more unaccounted for, and burned up thousands of acres and hundreds of homes and businesses.
The left went apoplectic over Trump’s comments. Bob Livingston pointed out that Trump’s assessment was correct in his column on November 15. But still our lefty friends were unhappy.
This tidbit will likely make them less happy… if it’s possible to make a lefty less happy, given that they’re the most moribund, downcast, sneering, condescending and hateful group of people on the planet, as evidence by their interactions with normal people, social media postings and comments on articles.
Back in August, before the wildfires broke out, Governor Moonbeam proposed changing California’s logging rules to “allow landowners to cut larger trees and build temporary roads without obtaining a permit as a way to thin more forests across the state,” according to The Santa Cruz Sentinel. The changes were needed, the paper noted, because California was facing “the worst summer fire season in 10 years.”
From the paper:
Timber industry officials say the changes are needed to cut red tape and increase incentives for landowners, particularly in the Sierra Nevada, to thin pine and fir forests that have become dangerously overgrown after 100 years of fire fighting.
Before the Gold Rush in the 1850s, forests burned naturally every few decades in California from lightning strikes or Indian tribes’ burning. That cleared dead wood and left mostly larger, healthy trees. But without those fires for the past century or more, today’s forests are much more dense, with up to 10 times as many trees per acre in some places. The dense brush and increased numbers of small, spindly trees cause fires burn much hotter now and climb more easily into the tops of trees, creating massive blazes that burn for months.
Thinning forests often is a money loser, however, because taking out the small brush and diseased or insect-ridden trees costs money but brings little or no economic return. Allowing landowners to cut some larger healthy trees, which can be turned into lumber, provides them a return, supporters say.
“How do you get people to go in and take out stuff that has no value?” said Gordon. “If you allow them to get some value — to break even — on the cost of thinning, you can get more thinning projects done.”
Environmentalists opposed it. Oooops!
Chief Justice Roberts is a Bush judge
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts — famous for rewriting Obamacare and so he could preserve it for posterity — lashed out at Trump’s characterization of a lefty 9th Circus Court of Appeals judge as an “Obama judge.”
Roberts, apparently butthurt that the American people by and large no longer feel the Supreme Court is very “supreme” because its recent rulings are largely nonsensical and anti-Constitutional, issued what the AP described as a “strongly-worded statement” prior to Thanksgiving, rebuking Trump.
“We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges. What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them,” Roberts said. “The independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for.”
Sorry to break this to you bud, but, the notion that there aren’t Bush judges, Clinton judges and Obama judges is bupkus. Almost every news article printed in the last 60 years defines a Supreme Court justice by the president who nominated him or her. And it’s quite easy to tell when a judge is a Clinton judge or an Obama judge, because they rule for tyranny and leftism and against the Constitution always. Sometimes the Republican-appointed judges are little squishier on their leftism, so they occasionally lean more right like Justices Gorsuch and Thomas.
But what we don’t have on the Supreme Court — or anywhere in the federal judiciary that I’m aware of — are Constitutionalists. And Roberts isn’t even close to one. He’s as far away from being a Constitutionalist as George W. Bush was from being a conservative. And that’s miles and miles away.
America’s favorite socialist can’t run for president in 2020
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the dimwitted socialist representative from New York who has become the new face off radical leftism, can’t run for president in 2020 and The Intercept’s Mehdi Hasan says Trump should be relieved.
Why can’t she run? She’s age-limited by the Constitution. At 29 years old, Ocasio-Cortez won’t meet the Constitutional age requirement of 35. But that didn’t stop Hasan from “what-iffing.”
Am I wrong to suggest that, pesky constitutional obstacles aside, she might make a strong contender for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination? Is it a completely crazy idea?
Perhaps it is. She has yet to prove herself as a legislator, let alone as a leader. She has shown astonishing potential, yes, but does not yet have a demonstrable track record of delivery or success. She may even make some glaring errors of judgement in Congress during the coming months and years.
But is it that crazy?
It’s quite crazy. And I doubt Trump’s given her a second thought. But it would be hilarious to watch her foibles in a national campaign.
Today, we’re going to take a look at one of the most misunderstood words in your political vocabulary.
And no, we’re not talking about “democratic socialism”, which is really just communism with extra steps. We’re talking about nationalism – a word so demonized that referring to yourself as one has become the easiest way for the media to call you a Nazi.
President Donald Trump joined the leaders of Canada and Mexico at the Group of 20 nations summit in Argentina on Friday to sign a revised North American trade pact that he called “groundbreaking” and a benefit for “working people.”
The U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement is meant to replace the 24-year-old North American Free Trade Agreement, which Trump has long denigrated as a “disaster.”
“It’s been long and hard. We’ve taken a lot of barbs and a little abuse, but we got there,” Trump said of the pact.
The president appeared with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and outgoing Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto at the global summit in Buenos Aires for the formal signing ceremony. Each country’s legislature must also approve the agreement.
Shocker at the G-20 Summit?

Trump… Putin… Trudeau… Merkel…
Dozens of world leaders arrived at the G-20 Economic Summit in Buenos Aires on Friday.
Much of the media is focusing on how the meeting could impact the U.S.-China trade war…
Like The Wall Street Journal, which says the trade battle has been “putting pressure on Chinese President Xi Jinping” in advance of the international get-together.
Or like the MarketWatch headline that blared, “Four reasons to expect a ceasefire in U.S.-China trade war.”
But there’s one interesting angle we have NOT seen covered by the mainstream press.
