The RHATT Pack Watch
Today is Monday November 29th, Day 208 of the Rhatt Pack Watch.
What do you know about White Springs Brothels? Not a lot, uh! That’s what the “Watch” thought.
Let’s start with the fact that Brothels have had a place in the Town’s history that dates back nearly to its founding in 1831 as Jackson Springs prior to its present reincorporation in 1885, as White Springs. Not one of the earliest, but one of the longest standing Brothels operated out of the Telford Hotel’s Third floor. However, the simple facts are Brothels have been just about everywhere and have moved everywhere around White Springs more frequently than the Red-face Ratt’s suppliers changed Street Corners.
At one time or another, you could find them on North and South Spring Street, on Bridge Street, on River Street, on Kendrick, on Suwanee and more and today you can find one on Mill Street
There were periods when the good people of White Springs made attempts to rid the Town of brothels,. But like many well intended undertakings, their efforts met with very limited success. A Brothel might be shut down on Kendrick, only to go underground for a few days or weeks, and soon to reopen at a new location on South Spring Street. And then there were the periods when Brothels were encouraged by Town Hall.
As it turns out, one of White Springs most frequent users of White Springs Brothels was none other than a former Mayor himself, “Daddy Bobby”. After putting in a little time to oversee the operations of White Springs, “Daddy Bobby”, or affectionately, “Daddy Ratt”, would pick up a magnum of Lord Calvert and then be off to one of his many Lady Friends, or, if they were indisposed, to one of White Springs’ many brothels, except of course, on his weekly night out with the “Cousins”. Due to his rather frequent visits to White Springs Brothels, “Daddy Ratt” took pains to ensure that no harm, by law enforcement or others, would come to them.
As so, it is with today’s Mill Street Brothel. Everyone knows its location. Everyone knows the Pimp operating the Brothel. And of course, everyone knows that the Mill Street Brothel is receiving protection from Town Hall. Unless the Lapdog “Just keep paying me” Tebow is moonlighting there or in Lake City, it’s really difficult to understand her inaction. However, to remind the Lapdog, Florida Statute Title LVI – Crimes, Chapter 796 – Prostitution, Section 7 – Prohibiting Prostitution and Related Acts provides information regarding the crimes, their definitions and punishments.
But then again, everyone knows the Lapdog answers to the Ratt. So the question becomes, why does the Ratt oversee the protection of the Mill Street Brothel? Does this Brothel make “Young Fondlings” available for the Ratt? Or does the Ratt have some other eccentricity which he has been unable to satisfy on his own? Could it be that the Ratt has been to ill to quarry for and groom any current sex partners? Then again, the Mill Street Brothel offers more than sex partners. The Brothel’s Pimp is also one of the Ratt’s favorite suppliers. Sex and drugs in a single location. What more could the Ratt ask for?
