SUBJECT TO BE PRESENTED TO THE BOARD:

Verbal Appreciation for the drafted White Springs Fire Department and Emergency Services Contract the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners has prepared, which may force our Current Chief and Assistant Chief to resign because under this administration there is no ability for the Fire Department to comply with the contractual requirements. White Springs is hoping to receive money from the County but not do the work..  The Town of White Springs is required to have a viable Fire Department by Charter and since the Town forced the firefighters under Former Chief Pittman to resign, it is hoped that this contract may institute a new chief and firefighter which have an interest in the Town of White Springs.

 

ACTION REQUESTED OF BOARD:   To retain the drafted Contract, without change and thereby assisting the Citizens of White Springs to have actual firefighters in the Town of White Springs as we have had previously. Currently our dependency has been on Genoa because Stith and Green are incapable
