If the town is going to stick to this adjective then Tommie Jerome Jones has NO DIRECT AUTHORITY TO IMPLEMENT CHANGES. a NEUTERED TOWN MANAGER IS WHAT WE HAVE, SOME ONE WHO CAN NOT MAKE CHANGES. THAT MEANS WE NO LONGER HAVE A WEAK MAYOR TYPE OF GOVERNMENT.

  2. NO HE IS MANAGER LITE, LIKE THE BEER. WHOMEVER THOUGHT THIS ONE UP MUST HAVE BEEN DRINKING A LOT OF LITE BEER. IT IS SIMPLE, THE COUNCIL HIRED HIM FOR 6 MONTHS AS A MANAGER. SINCE WE DON’T HAVE A CONTRACT HE IS #1 AN “AT WILL EMPLOYEE” AND #2 BECAUSE HE IS AT THE BECK AND CALL OF THE MAYOR AND THE REST OF THE COUNCIL HE IS AN EMPLOYEE. IT IS REAL SIMPLE. EITHER YOU ALLOW THE BLACK MAN TO OPERATE THE POSITION HE WAS HIRED TO DO OR FACE A JUDGE AND EXPLAIN WHY YOU HIRED HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE BECAUSE HE IS A BLACK MAN. YOU CAN’T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS, EITHER HE, LIAR, DRUG USER, THIEF, SOLICITATION EXPERT AND A FELON, IS QUALIFED OR HE IS NOT. WHITE SPRINGS IS IN DEEP TROUBLE AND WE NEED A FULLY FUNCTIONING TOWN MANAGER. THE COUNCIL, IN ITS WISDOM, PICKED TOMMIE TO BE THE MAN. EITHER HE IS THE MAN OR HE IS THE LAPDOG OF THE COUNCIL AND THE MAYOR. I’D LOVE TO SEE A DRUG TEST BUT, AS YOU POINTED OUT, WHAT DIFFERENCE WOULD IT MAKE.
