Only one “Watch” recipient was at the meeting to receive a “Badge of Honor”

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents the government from infringing upon the Citizen’s freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, freedom of religion, the right to peaceably assemble, or to petition for a governmental redress of grievances.

It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.

Yet in White Springs, those that dare to redress their grievances to this Council before me, are faced with removal by armed police.

I Karin Griffin, as well as my husband Joe Griffin have been removed multiple times for our free speech, but there have been others who have given the ultimate Sacrifice in White Springs by being fired without real cause like in the case of Anita Rivers and removal of Dr. Miller from a council seat only because the three councilors Bullard, Brown and Jefferson along with the Town Manager Stacy Tebo did not like her,

This is and was because Dr. Miller questions their illicit behaviors and misspending of Taxpayer and Restrictive Funds.

As many of you may be aware, the “Watch” makes a daily publication on the White Springs Journal and the members of the “Watch” feel that certain individuals should be honored and recognized for standing up to those staff and Councilors who wish to take their rights away.

As such the “Watch” has provided those of us who are not fearful of the consequences with “Badges of Honor”.

The first recipient and the only recipient at last night’s meeting was Former Mayor and Councilor Dr. Helen Miller for fighting the good fight for the people of White Springs against all evil.  Thank you on Behalf of the “Watch”.

The second recipient is Anita Rivers who was severely discriminated against for her belief that all Citizens should have rights. And I am holding her badge of honor to provide her at a later date.

The Third recipient is Mr. Thomas Brazil, Jr. who has done so much for this town as a firefighter before the Gang of Three and our Town Manager decided to provide the Department to two flunkies who should have been fired and never hired. All he requested is that is drainage pipe be cleaned and he was ousted twice by armed police.

The “Watch” thanks you for keeping up the good fight, Mr. Brazil, and your “Badge of Honor” is awaiting you.

The “Watch” believes in those that fight for their rights and offer you their greatest regards

The fourth recipient is Ms. Nikki Williams, who not only was thrown out of a meeting when asked by Councilor Miller to speak on her behalf, but who refused the threats and bribes of then Mayor and now Councilor Rhett Bullard.

The “Watch” thanks Ms. Williams for fighting the good fight and a Badge of Honor awaits her..

The Fifth and Sixth recipients are Joe Griffin and myself who have been fighting the good fight for years but for which there has been  only one Councilor who has joined us in the fight for the rights of the people of White Springs and that is Helen Miller. Nevertheless, she cannot do it on her own and all citizens need to come to her aid and give her your support.

I also wish to thank the “Watch” whoever you may be for recognizing that some of us wish for a better White Springs and for providing us with information in your daily posts.

I also thank the Watch for entrusting me to give Thanks to the Recipients of the Watch’s Badge of Honor.
