Putin to assist with North Korea

His assertion on North Korea came in a series of tweets kicking off with a self-congratulatory statement that “so many people at the higher ends of intelligence loved my press conference performance in Helsinki,” while his cordial interaction with Russian President Vladimir Putin “truly bothered many haters who wanted to see a boxing match.”

He said he expects his widely criticized meeting Monday with Putin could turn out to be “an even greater success” than his efforts days earlier with NATO, particularly because of Russia’s willingness to “help with North Korea, where relationships with us are very good and the process is moving along.” He added, “There is no rush, the sanctions remain! Big benefits and exciting future for North Korea at end of process!”

Soon after, Trump slammed the critics of his relationship with Putin: “Some people HATE the fact that I got along well with President Putin of Russia. They would rather go to war than see this. It’s called Trump Derangement Syndrome!”
