Winners versus Losers

Attitude determines altitude, the self- knowledge about your life, how you fare in your work, your relationships and your education depends on one’s attitude.

Losers always blame others such as Joe for their problems while Winners take responsibility

Losers focus on their problems and blame their problems on others while Winners focus on solutions and take responsibility for their actions.

Losers live in the past and cannot understand that change sometimes is for the better while Winners enjoy the present and learn from the past even if the losers are corrupt.

Losers are never fulfilled and find excuses for everything they do.  They know they have to remain anonymous because if they used their real name for all of the horrid e-mails they have sent the Griffins that would be a case of real cyber stalking and personal injury.  They do not stick to the issues and everything they say is a lie.  Winners consider the best way to achieve their goals in spite of the lies.  They understand who they are and the viciousness has no credibility and could be proved lies should it be tested in a court of law.  This is done by broadcasting the truth on a blog or filing 119’s to end corruption.

Losers neglect personal development and can only exist by anonymously calling others names and attacking one’s personal qualities.  They cannot believe that others have achieved successes in their lives that they could only dream of.   Winners put personal development as a priority and stick only to the issues.

Losers hold on to their own comfort zone and are afraid to go out of their circle because someone may not agree with them while Winners constantly expand their comfort zone and are not afraid to take a stand in their own name, whether or not the idea may be popular..

Losers are doing the same thing over again and expecting better results. They hope that the Winners will lose their cool if they are called names and are defamed in the same manner over and over again while Winners are trying a variety of strategies when they do not get the expected results

Losers are lost in fear, fear of using their real name and fear of being known because of what people would really think of them.  Mostly they are not even aware of the situation and feel empowered by hiding their shame and attacking others. They cannot see the forest through the trees (i.e. not understanding that although one battle was won, they did not and could not win the war of Free Speech.  They did not understand their narrow win and were denied their show cause case. Their case was based on prior e-mails not necessarily the blog.   Winners face obstacles directly and hold strong in spite of the anonymous Loser’s lies, accept Losers for what they are (pitiful) and move forward.  The Winner holds back in restraint not to hurt the other person even though the Vice Mayor took the first punch and the little man decides to beat on him, (using the excuse he was drunk when trying to run over our chained dog over with his pickup truck).  Winners are determined to work toward a better life for all and not a few even though they may be persecuted for their diligence. Even though a Winner is capable of fighting back physically showing restraint is taking the higher ground.

Losers hate planning because they are not capable of thinking on their feet. They base their decisions by those they associate with and the needs of their special group while Winners plan individually and will deviate only if another idea may be more logical to implement.  They are not dictated by the decisions of their friends alone.

Losers focus on obstacles that will prevent them from reaching their goal. If as much effort were placed on ending corruption as the effort placed on trying to do whatever they may do to make the Griffins move out of town, White Springs would be a better place for all of its citizens. Winners think about the possibilities; harmony among citizens and eliminating special strokes for special folks.

Losers place themselves as experts, even when they know little. They cannot conceive other’s ideas and remain in a slump because they only have a narrow vision. Winners believe that there is always something to learn and new ways to accomplish something.

Winners believe in their dreams for a brighter future with laws abided by all citizens.  Losers suspect.

Winners control their destiny whereas all the Losers are left to fate, the fate of their corrupt group or those that do not abide by the laws in government…

Losers refuse to think and therefore must follow the other and hide behind a computer nameless. Winners think and lead and are not afraid to state an opinion under their own name.

Losers surround themselves with similar people who are like themselves and sooner or later they lead them to ruin. Winners are people who surround themselves with like-minded individuals who may enhance their experience through integration.

The Losers is always part of the problem and when they can’t get their way, they have the “poor me” syndrome. The Winner is always part of the answer and accepts no pity, only respect;

The Loser always has an excuse. The Winner is always has a program;

The Loser sees a problem for every answer. The Winner sees an answer for every problem;

The Loser says, “It may be possible but it is too difficult.” The Winner says,” It may be difficult but it is possible”(i.e. giving those who asked an extension on their water bill hence forward);

When a Loser makes a mistake, he says,” It wasn’t my fault.” When a Winner makes a mistake, he says,” I was wrong”;

Loser makes promises and threats. A Winner makes commitments;

Losers have schemes like making up stories to gain pity. Winners have dreams;

Losers believe for them to win someone has to lose.  They worked extremely hard to make certain there is a loser they may persecute.  Winners believe in win/win and see the bigger picture. Time surely will sort it out and ultimately they will win.

Losers say what they choose. Winners choose what they say;

Losers stand firm on petty things but compromise on values. Winners stand firm on values but compromise on petty things;

Losers follow the philosophy, “Do it to others before they do it to you.” Winners follow the philosophy of empathy: “Don’t do to others what you would, not want them to do to you”;

Losers let it happen. Winners make it happen;

Winners aim to achieve success.  Losers aim to avoid failure.

Winners aim for honest personal and business results. Losers aim for personal kudos and ego gratification only.

Winners develop themselves by helping others to succeed. Losers criticize others to make themselves feel better.

Winners talk solutions and take action. Losers talk problems and do nothing and ridicule the Winners for their actions.

Winners work based on priorities and successful actions. Losers never have time for things they’d rather not do.

Winners know that failure is only deferred success. Losersthink success is only deferred failure.

Winners conquer their own fears of failure and their learned limitations.Losers quit when the going gets tough, usually to avoid failure and take the easy way out.

Winners have directions, goals, and real successes. Losers have hopes, wishes, and unfulfilled dreams.

Winners look for the truth and reality in every situation. Losers let their feelings and other people’s opinions influence their decisions.

Winners create values (products, services, and art). Losers simply enjoy stuff and never produce anything of value for themselves or others.

The solution to being a winner is to make the most of your life.  Yet many people do not have the knowledge and practical skills necessary to develop into winners.  They basically are confused or misinformed about how life works and rely on others to pull them true or to provide the necessary answers.

To be a winner, you need to take responsibility for your successes and failures. You do not need to base your success on external factors such as connections or other people. Many people have decided that success depends on external factors such as luck, connections, or, other people

Responsibility and self-direction go hand in hand. You decide where you want to go, and then you take the responsibility for getting yourself there. If required, then educate yourself on how to get where you want to be. Read books and talk to people, but always make up your own mind about it all. Be your own authority and the final decider on what you need to do to be a winner.

Winners usually experience happiness continually in spite of the ridicule by Losers.

Losers are usually trapped in negative-attitude ruts and they use their abilities and efforts in negative and unproductive ways. They spend time trying to find ways to avoid responsibility and avoid taking action toward the things they really want. Most of the time, they end up not getting what they want, and at the same time they have confirmed and reinforced their losing attitude

Almost everyone has both some losing and winning qualities to various degrees, so no one is 100% winner or loser. We all have our strong qualities and then there are the areas in which we need to work at it more…
